Pocket Canopy Pty Ltd wants Pat Pet Core to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification or high-contrast displays. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as our target for the website, the web platform and the mobile app, consistent with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Australia) and the Equality Act 2010 (UK).
What we have done
- Text and interface contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1; large text and icons meet 3:1.
- Every interactive element is a real button, link or form control, reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus.
- Forms have labels, hints and clear error messages that are announced to screen readers.
- Touch targets are at least 44 × 44 pixels.
- Animation is reduced when your system requests reduced motion.
- Images that convey meaning have text alternatives; decorative illustrations are hidden from assistive technology.
- The website works at 400% zoom and on small phones without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
- Weekly charts in the app are visual; the underlying figures are available in the timeline and in exports, and a text summary is being added.
- Some scanned documents you upload are images without text; we are adding on-device text recognition to make them searchable and readable.
- Third-party pages we link to (app stores, clinic websites) are outside our control.
