Add your first pet

Create a pet profile with the basics, then fill in the rest whenever you like.

1. Open the app and tap Add pet on the Today screen.
2. Enter a name and species (dog, cat or other). Everything else is optional — you can come back for breed, date of birth, colour, weight, microchip number, insurance and your vet.
3. Add a photo if you like. Photos are stored privately and only shared where you choose (for example on a QR tag page).

Tips

• The microchip number is the one field we suggest adding early: it appears on the emergency card and lost-pet poster.
• Pets that have passed can be marked as a memorial. They keep their full story and do not count towards your plan limits.
• On the Household plan you can add up to 10 pets. Archived and memorial pets do not count.
